Erin LeShore

Breast Cancer Benefit

I believe that together we can make a difference in the lives of others. This is why I'm reaching out to the community to help my friend, Erin LeShore. Erin, a 35 year old single mother of four children, was diagnosed with Stage III moderately differentiated invasive carcinoma, a form of breast cancer, in November of 2010.

In December of 2010, Erin started her fight against breast cancer by undergoing a double mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes. A subsequent surgery was performed two weeks later to remove more cancerous tissue and implant her port for chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is scheduled to begin in early February and run through late Summer or early Fall.

Erin worked as a nurse at Heritage Park nursing home. She has worked at this facility since graduating from nursing school in 2006. Prior to nursing school Erin worked as a group home trainer for Anthony Wayne Services for 7 years. She has always dedicated her time, her heart and her kindness to helping others in need. On top of working full time, Erin is also the sole provider for herself and her 4 young children. Currently Erin's job as a nurse has been put on hold due to surgery and chemotherapy. As you can imagine, this has put an incredible financial burden on Erin.

We, Erin's friends and family, are hosting a benefit dinner and auction in her honor on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Masonic Temple downtown. We are asking for your support in contributions such as material items or services for the auction and monetary donations. All monetary donations will be accepted at any Fifth/Third bank location under the ERIN LESHORE BREAST CANCER BENEFIT.

As a friend of Erin's, I have always admired her dedication and compassion toward her patients. She's a role model and mentor to many people. Her infectious smile lights up a room. Please help me keep Erin's smile shining. Thank you so much in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

Erin's Family and Friends
