I am a spiritual person and I am an
empath-sensitive. I was born with a caul
(also known as a veil or hood) on my face.
You may wonder what it means when someone is
born with a caul over their face, or perhaps
you are one of these people, or know someone
who was born this way. In childbirth, the
caul is seen as a shimmery coating of the
head and face. The caul is harmless and is
easily removed by the doctor, midwife, or
person attending the childbirth. A child
born in this way is known as a caulbearer.
Many belief systems and cultures hold that
being born with a caul is a sign that the
infant has a special destiny and psychic
abilities, or good luck; most are female. My
grandma wanted my parents to send me to a
school for gifted children. That wasn't an
option because of where I lived. I was young
and didn't understand the significance of
how I was born. My first experience was when
I was about 8 years old and it has continued
throughout my life. Others looked at me
differently when I would voice what I seen,
heard, and felt, so I hid what I was
experiencing. Surprisingly most people in my
life are just finding out about my
abilities. I have decided to be myself; I am
who I am. Fortunately, someone has come into
my life and helped me to open up and stop
hiding my gift. Thank you, Kurt Begue, for
believing in me, and Jason Snyder, for
believing in Kurt. I also want to give
credit to my mom and friend, Robyn, who both
have given me the nudge to pursue the
unknown.
In Nomine Paranormal Research has allowed
me to be myself. I am embracing every moment
while on my new adventure. My goal is to
help people understand that the paranormal
is normal. It has become a passion and a
drive for me to help everyday people,
friends, families, and children (and wishing
I had this kind of help when I was a child)
to understand the existence of the
paranormal by investigating the scientific
aspects of the paranormal and putting my
abilities to use. The paranormal has always
been a part of my life since I can remember.
I want to also help children who have signs
of being gifted to understand they are not
alone, not to be scared, and that we have
been given a gift. I will keep pushing the
limits even further as I adventure off into
new, dark places. My quest is to research
and study what else is out there beyond the
realm in which we live.
