Paranormacon 2011
Written by Kurt Begue

Three Years of Success! Mission Accomplished!

For three years running, In Nomine Paranormal Research has had the distinct opportunity and pleasure to bring to you, Paranormacon, the Midwest regions finest paranormal conference.

This year we decided to shake some things up, and the Friday Night Costume Party was a blast. All of our Paranormal Teams, Vendors and Guests had the opportunity to come to the historic Fort Wayne Masonic Temple (http://www.thefreemasonshall.com) and enjoy a night of fun and entertainment.

The 2nd floor social room came to life as Emmett from On Key Karoke spun up some sounds that proved their motto: Sound That is Physical! The evening was capped off by a special command performance by Fort Wayne’s own Scarlet Fever (http://www.myspace.com/521057971). Everyone in attendance had a great time and this is certainly something that we look forward to having more of at our upcoming conferences.

Saturday truly proved why we at In Nomine love to put on the Paranormacon conference. The success of this year’s conference was not directly attributed to all the hard work that the team members of In Nomine put forth, and not the brilliant planning and scheduling that went into the conference. It was simply successful because of the Teams, Vendors and Attendees. These people made Paranormacon 2011 happen.

Special thanks must go out to following people:

Rick Carroll who headed up our Security Detail for the conference.

Kristy Robbinett (http://www.tangledwishes.com/) for those of you who have not had the pleasure to meet Kristy, she is the real deal. And by saying this, we are not just referring to her World-Class abilities as a psychic medium. She is the real deal because she genuinely cares about people and the overall quality of their life.

Brian Harshman from IROP (http://www.myspace.com/415800645) Brian has been a huge supporter and friend to the Paranormacon Conference for all three years of its existence. Each year he amazes us with his Art pieces and his knowledge of psychology and it relation to the paranormal field.

TRAMPS paranormal team (http://www.trampsparanormal.com/) Led by Andrea Schroeder and Nicole Procise, we thank them for everything that they contributed to this year’s conference, especially stepping up with no notice what-so-ever to fill open presentation slots from speakers who could not attend.

Van Renier from Whisper’s Estate (http://www.whispersestate.net/) INPR and Van have had a great partnership. INPR loves Whisper’s Estate!

Sharon Topp from Fort Wayne Indiana Ghost Trackers (http://www.ftwayneindianaghosttrackers.com/) What a great Saturday night Hunt we had! And more to come!

John E.L. Tenney (http://weirdlectures.com/) Very rarely do we at In Nomine get impressed with a person’s knowledge and experience with the paranormal and especially with scientific paranormal research. We were impressed. This man has stories and theories that simply blew everyone away at the conference. It was a true pleasure to have him in attendance.

Christopher Lien (http://www.hoosierstateparanormal.com/) Truly loved having Christopher at the conference this year. His presentation on Paranormal TV definitely helped us all set the record straight between reality and ratings!
To all of the attendees of Paranormacon 2011, thank you for all your support.

This year, In Nomine Paranormal Research, on behalf of all the attendees and sponsors is pleased to announce that a $1,000.00 donation will be made to the Fort Wayne Masonic Temple Preservation Fund.

We look forward to seeing everyone back next year at Paranormacon 2012, and remember to bring your friends!

Through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and scientific principles, we seek to produce positive quantifiable evidence into the existence of spirits, portals, paranormal energy, and the afterlife.

Our vision is to become a recognized and reliable source for scientific knowledge pertaining to the paranormal. Our goal is to help families to understand the existence of paranormal anomalies and to provide answers to personal experiences that have yet to be explained. To allow them to be comfortable in their homes or businesses and to also build our compliment of knowledge and scientific tools to perform investigations with unparalleled accuracy.

HISTORY OF INPR:
In Nomine Paranormal Research (INPR) was founded in July of 2008 by seven founding members. Those members included: Kim Daugherty, Sarah Neher, Megan Price, Ludema Simon, Rob Stone, Jason Snyder and Kurt Begue.

The name In Nomine (in nah-min nay) comes from Latin meaning “in the name of” so naturally this fit into our main goal and purpose. The name is credited to Rob Stone who finally came up with an acceptable and fitting name after several weeks of team debate.

The INPR logo was the brain-child of Kim Daugherty. This too was also a huge topic of discussion and debate until finally one day Kim voiced the idea of putting a wave pattern behind the name and our current logo was born. With the help of Brandon Latowski and Simply Dead Graphics, the more modern logo was created.

Our Mission and Vision statements were carefully crafted by Kurt Begue. The words that he selected truly exemplified and explained our meaning and purpose. It clearly defines who we are, and why we are so passionate about bringing forward proof.

Since its inception, INPR has been a team that strives at being a shining example for professionalism and the quest for paranormal research. First and foremost, we help people and especially families better understand the occurrences that are going on around them. We take great pride in our professionalism and how we handle each case.

While INPR is focused on bring paranormal research to the mainstream public, we do not exploit our clients or the events. We guarantee privacy and discretion as needed and requested by our clients.

In addition to private and public investigations, INPR is a leading expert resource when it comes to presentations, conferences and general practical paranormal phenomena.
